In the first quarter of 2024, France's consumer finance applications have shown varied performance, according to the latest data from Sensor Tower. Below is an overview of how the top five apps have fared on the unified platform.

Bankin' experienced a mixed trend, with downloads peaking at 28K in the first week of January and then generally declining to 14K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 246K but also saw a decrease to around 220K. Revenue showed fluctuations, starting at $14K, dipping in mid-February to around $7K, and slightly recovering to $10K towards the end of the quarter.

Finary: Budget & Money Tracker had a modest number of downloads, starting at 1.6K and dropping to 1.6K by March. Revenue for Finary showed variability with an initial $7.9K, a spike to $13.7K in the second week of January, and then a decrease to $5.2K by the end of March.

Tricount - Split group bills maintained a steady performance in downloads, with numbers ranging between 27K and 32K. Weekly active users saw a decline from 175K at the start of January to 112K at the end of March. Revenue for Tricount remained below $2K throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick at the end of March reaching $1K.

YNAB had relatively low download figures, with the highest at 107 in the first week of January and the lowest at 21 in the first week of March. Active users showed little change, hovering around 330 throughout the quarter. Revenue started at $915 and saw a minor dip to $608 in the third week of March before rising to $771.

Lastly, Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker showed an uneven trend in downloads, with a high of 778 in the last week of January and a low of 401 in the first week of February. The trend for weekly active users was relatively stable, ranging from 6.8K to 6.5K. Revenue exhibited slight fluctuations, starting at $888, dipping to $506, and closing the quarter at $568.
